My Freedom

"My Freedom"

“All men’s miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room alone.”

—Blaise Pascal

Imagine what it would be like to feel increasing peace and harmony within yourself every day of your life.

Imagine if you and I could see ourselves as we truly are: greedy and fearful, believing we have love when we don’t, and getting easily hurt, falsely praised, and easily bored. Can we endure all of that, without being unhappy or frustrated?

The further you investigate the possibility of freedom, the more you realize that freedom begins when we let go of who we think we are. You must leap into a world with an unfamiliar landscape and emerge as the person you always were, with the awareness of your everyday existence.

Only then can we feel this sense of freedom, not only in ourselves but everywhere. We must tackle life with open arms, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable. Intimidated by high mountains, deep waters, and the vagaries of our fellow humans.

It is up to each one of us to make the choice. We must decide whether we want to be free. We must want it with all our mind, heart, and soul because freedom is a prerequisite to true love and the perception of beauty.
